Tower Of Power
French Paper Company offers rich tones and the highest volume of color. They has always been in tune with musicians and their designers, providing a strong foundation for flyers, posters, and liner notes.
This poster shows a tower made up of devices used to play music throughout the decades. In essence, this piece is a modern commentary on how tech is at the heart of the media we consume. Technology not only plays a role in our media consumption, but in how it's produced as well.
Viewing this poster from the top down, we see that each device becomes more advanced--in starting with a record player and ending with an iPod. Undoubtedly, with every change in technology, we are forced to undergo a change as well.

Every piece of equipment depicted in this piece displays a name from French's paper line. This poster campaign was printed using just two Pantone colors, silver and gray. The gray acted as a tint when it came into contact with the paper color.
I also created a line of cassette tapes that were printed in an accordion fold and perforated so they could be separated and shared like mixtapes. Each cassette tape also features a French paper line and lists the colors found within the line.

This piece ended up being printed using various French papers, in addition to being screen printed.
