Eastlake Brewery & Tavern
Eastlake Brewery had an existing logo type that had been used quite extensively, but they wanted to introduce an additional graphic that would function more like a mascot.
The owner of the tavern prided himself on the length of his beard, and the brewery itself was located in a Mexican and Latinx district of Minneapolis. I combined these elements to inspire and create the images below. The owner and I collaboratively came up with the idea of hats to represent different seasons and specially crafted brews.
